Welcome to the NOS !
The Northern Optometric Society is the north-west's leading optometric group, providing high quality continuing education to optometrists, optical professionals, and academics.
Why Register for NOS ?
From October until March we offer a fortnightly programme of evening lectures on a wide range of current optometric topics of interest to everyone from under-graduates to experienced optical professionals.Each lecture carries 1.5 CET points, except the new Peer Discussion which carries just 1.
And, of course, NOS meetings are a great way to keep in touch with fellow professionals around the region !
The 2011-12 Lecture Programme
Our programme for 2011/12 features lectures by Consultants, Surgeons, academics, product specialists, and practising Optometrists.
A broad spectrum of subjects are covered, from surgical disease management, through diagnosis and contemporary research on various conditions, to therapeutics, laser treatment and dispensing.
